Provider workflow guide

Automatic or manual confirmation?

Your availability tells customers when they can request your time. Your confirmation setting determines what must happen before the request becomes a confirmed booking.

Choose around your own workflow.

BelleTime’s selected direction lets independent providers choose automatic confirmation or manual approval. Neither option changes the right to decline or withdraw consent, and neither option guarantees that a payment or booking will succeed.

Provider-set services, prices and booking conditions operate within BelleTime’s platform policy and applicable law.

Automatic confirmation

Fewer separate acceptance steps.

A booking may confirm when every required booking step is complete. Providers using this approach need to keep offered availability and booking conditions current.

The customer must still see whether the booking has actually confirmed.

Manual approval

Review each request first.

A submitted request is not a confirmed appointment. Provider acceptance is required, and the customer needs a clear pending, accepted, declined or expired status.

Do not promise a response time the workflow cannot support.

Side-by-side

The important difference is the acceptance step.

Before operational use

Payment and expiry details must be explicit.

The deposit amount, authorisation or capture timing, manual-review expiry and declined-request money treatment are still being resolved. Do not infer them from a calendar, temporary hold or payment notification.

Those details must appear in approved booking terms and customer status messages before either confirmation option is enabled.
